Hair
Individual workThe project for my Studio 1 class was to visually show ‘Evidence’ of my life. My theme was ‘Hair’ and the places I’ve seen it in my life, particularly when I visit home and when I come back to the US. I always bring my puppy’s hair, her ‘Fur.’ I’ll find it when I open my suitcase or bits of it stuck in my clothes. It so touches my heart, and helps me remember her.

The first mind-map was a text version. For it I collected and searched all kinds of information about hair and memories. After that, I listed all sources and lined them up with triangle shapes. The triangle shapes mean that all sources are connected in my theme.

Poster 1 (Spagetti)
The image of this poster is made by spaghetti. The lines of spagetti are simliar to hair. The structure of the square shows the meaning of our life, that our life keeps changing in the same pattern.

The image of Poster 2 is also made by spaghetti. It shows a stronger feeling of emotion that indicates the variety of emotion in our life.
