The 2019 Aladdin film by Walt Disney Pictures was a live-action adaptation of the 1992 animated film with the same name.
Aladdin was one of the largest live-action programs, and as lead designer, I designed a total of 5 physical books and 5 digital books. I made the design based on each characters’ unique characteristics and highlighted the settings of Agrabah by using colorful and sophisticated patterns.
Since this program had books for a variety of ages, each book was carefully designed with the target age of the consumer in mind, and a lot of research was done to ensure the program's remained cohesive.
